During the Prohibition era, bootleggers would make their beer and whiskey in barrels and secretly transport them anyway they could. One of those ways, was by floating barrels down rivers and creeks to awaiting trucks that would then continue their destination to eagerly awaiting recipients. Such a "transportation waterway" still exists today and is located in Upstate New York, in a little town called Appleton. Which can be found along Route 18. That waterway is still to this day called.....
"KEG CREEK"!
Growing up along the banks of that creek, the stories that I would often hear from the "ol'-timers" of how the creek was a success in running kegs of beer brewed from across Lake Ontario in Canada, and then would make its way into boats, to then be delivered overnight up stream of Keg Creek, to awaiting trucks carefully positioned alongside the road. Even to this day, remnants of a time long ago still can be seen littering the banks of that creek, reminding us just how important beer really is.
So, I have taken that desire to enjoy the complete and entire process of brewing and bringing it to those who also wish to get more out of the experience of enjoying a good beer.
Bring history back to life, with our "Self-Brewing Rooms" and see how beer is made and enjoy the fruits of your labor!
Don't just drink beer......MAKE IT!!
